Get in Touch
The REFA Hub exists to build partnerships. Whether you are a researcher, a policymaker, a community organisation, a funder, or someone whose work aligns with the mission of rethinking how Africa’s institutions, economies, and knowledge systems are shaped, we want to hear from you.
How Can We Work Together?
We do not do this work alone, and we do not want to. REFA is built on the principle that the questions we are asking require collaboration across disciplines, across borders, and between researchers, practitioners, communities, and policymakers. Here are some of the ways you can connect with us.
Contribute to the Working Paper Series
If your research aligns with REFA’s thematic streams, whether in economics, education, governance, health, or social institutions, we welcome submissions to the REFA Working Paper Series for peer review and publication through the Hub.
Partner on Translation Projects
We are building pathways to translate research into institutional practice, policy design, and community engagement. If your organisation works at the interface between research and implementation, there is a role for you in this work.
Join as a Network Fellow
Scholars and practitioners working across relevant disciplines can apply to join the REFA Research Network. Fellows contribute to collaborative research, participate in convenings, and help shape the Hub’s intellectual direction.
Collaborate on Institutional Pilots
Universities, agencies, and community organisations interested in testing new approaches to institutional design can partner with REFA on pilot projects that take research findings into real-world settings.
Engage as a Policymaker
If you work in government, public administration, or legislative design at any level, we want to ensure our research speaks to the realities you navigate. REFA produces policy briefings, organises dialogues, and builds direct relationships with policymakers who want evidence that reflects local contexts.
Work With Us as a Community
REFA is committed to co-producing research with the communities whose lives sit at the centre of it. If your community or community organisation wants to be part of shaping research questions, interpreting findings, and deciding what happens next, reach out.
Support the Network
The REFA Hub relies on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and institutions who believe in the mission of building knowledge systems and institutional frameworks that work for Africa. If you would like to support our work, we would welcome a conversation about how your contribution can make a difference.
